THE NEXT STEPS EXPERIENCE
We believe that following Jesus is not a classroom experience but a journey. Don’t anticipate a stale class, taking notes all the time. These sessions will be filled with laughs, new friends, and training on how to follow Jesus in the 21st century. We are looking forward to getting to know you!
Change Makers
SERVE IN THE CHURCH
Change Makers are the incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on our Host Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on our Student Ministries Team, to crafting a dynamic experience with the First Impressions Team, to tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Small Group – we are a group that forcefully advances the Kingdom of God.
Join a Group
FIND COMMUNITY
A Life Group is a meeting of 5-30 people. Groups will often have a topic of discussion or simply get together and have a deeper conversation about the teaching from the weekend. Some groups are gender-based others are co-ed. Life Groups meet on different days, times, and locations. Look in the description of the group you are interested in for more details about the group.
Baptism
A STEP OF OBEDIENCE
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally put our faith in Jesus. Jesus was baptized when He was on earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus, you are beginning a changed life in Him, and are you part of a new family.
